We have known for two years now, Kirks agent is basing guaranteed money off of what he would be guaranteed if the Skins tag him again. So lat year they were asking for $48M in guarantee and the Skins offered $15.

This year they are asking for $58M in guarantees, and the Skins offer $25M. Why even dignify that by coming back with a counter?? When the Skins come with say $45M, well then they might counter. But thats like some one offering you $1000 for your truck worth $10K, would you even answer their text?? My guess is, no.

IM going to call a spade a spade here. This is 100% a case of getting to where you need to be, but not being with the person you wanted to be there with. If Griffin had had two years the likes of what Kirk did, most of the fan base would be livid at the thought of not signing him long term LAST year. Tagging him a second time has jack shit to do with due diligence and everything to do with hedging the bet because they really didnt expect Kirk to succeed. So now they want to rent him for another year... JUST in case another option presents itself.

i understand the points of your post they are just foolish points and out of nowhere when i post KC and BA both have acknowleged in the press they are talking , which implies offers and counter offers you want to know about whether i feel a deal will get done by July 15th or not totally brushing off the fact that your points were foolish in the first place because OFFERS and COUNTEROFFERS are being tossed back and forth as KC and BA reinforced .

not to mention your entrance into this part of the conversation came after the fact that i already stated my feelings on the contract being signed

so again , yes i believe this contract will get done at the deadline . it is certainly more promising this year then last year

if it doesnt then we do it all again next season at which time you will move the goal post yet again

IMO I don't think he has. there is no reason to give KC a LTD before the deadline unless its a team friendly offer. Already stated my points to support it.

I think alot of the doubt has to do with the fact that this ISNT the guy alot of people wanted to be here with. Its kind of like old school republicans who never really wanted to give Obama a chance. They never wanted him to be the Pres, so they constantly looked for reasons to say... see.. him getting the job was a mistake. If Kirk cant bring world piece and a Lombardi, some will constantly point out any mistake as the reason we never should have made him the starter. And the funny part is, there will be those that even if we fuck around and win a Lombardi this year with Kirk being League and Super Bowl MVP.... the reply would be, oh he aint shit... any one could have done it with the amount of talent we put around Kirk.
