Paul should just come to the Cavs on a 1 year min. deal- get his 'ship- party with LeBron.....bring Bosh off the bench......

i mean why not?

Paul is older. But, a better investment at the right price.

Paying him 40 mil at 37 is not the right price....lol

If it significantly increased their chances of at least reaching the finals within the next couple of years, then if your the Clips, you do it and and then just spend his age 37 season looking lovingly at the championship banner you hopefully got to hang.

The problem is, considering there are other roster moves they would need to make, you are far more likely to just be throwing away $40 million with no banner to justify it.

Am i the only one who finds it funny that Lebron got RJ out here making excuses for him? My god what a freaking lame.

You had a bad game on Sunday. Eat it and move on

Yeah. Not like MJ had bad games as well. It is funny though.

Whenever players say "the money doesn't matter -- it is about winning" ... they rarely mean it. If they did, they would do something like you suggest.

Ray Allen (Miami) and David West (last 2 years .. especially last year when someone would have still paid him) -- those are a couple of the only examples I can think of where a player really chose winning far above $$$$.

Lebron does control what anyone from Cleveland says. (besides being the GM, Coach, Head Scout, ...)

MJ had "the flu game". Even though was out parrtying all night. RJ has always been a guy that if he needs to say something he will, there is no reason to make up some shit. It does nothing for anything or Lebron. Lebron doesnt give a shit about one game, he cares about winning. The reason why he said one day this will be Kyrie's team

Not sure why you're directing this at me. I just mentioned that MJ had bad games as well. For the 12 playoff games Lebron has played, he had one bad game.

i just hope the Cavs finish it off in 5.

going 12-1 in the East would be pretty hilarious considering all the panic about the Cavs defense. I have to admit- even I didnt think they could best last years 12-2 record in the East.

Cavs D hasn't been anything great.
Teams missing open shots doesn't equate to good defense.

All that matters is the upcoming test starting June 1.
One team will get an A for the season.
The other will fail the course.
Warriors usually make open shots

Lebron sucks. Kyrie has taken over the team leadership from him. Lebron can't carry a team anymore. He is over the hill. Kyrie has been Cleveland's best player all along. Lebron had a really bad Game 3. Guys like Curry & Durant & Klay & Draymond would have beaten the Celtics in a 4 games -- each by more than 40 points.

Why do the Cavs fans support Lebron like he is one of best players still ?

I'm not just a bitter Lakers fan.

ill admit i havent paid alot of attention. i did tune in and watch him defer to kyrie after the bad game. its moments like these he chose to join first wade and then the cavs once they got better players. (bailed out with multiple #1 picks) sure lebron is great. im NOT one of the ones that puts him in the top 5 or something like that. stats are cool i guess. in the end if you went to finals and lost more than you won then that says something. get on stage say not 1 not 2, not 6 not 7, that says something else. lebron is clyde drexler or dominique wilkins without jumping to teams chasing rings early in career. he stays in cleveland he just a stat stuffer. now he can just fold his arms and watch kyrie but up points and make finals clinching shots for him.. much like ray allen. What is amazing to me is that people equate scoring to "better player".

Kyrie is a better ISO scorer than LeBron. When he is cooking, he gets those opportunities. He also Gets the ball late clock end of game. LeBron is better at everything else though, and it isn't close.

Remove LeBron from this team and they do not make it out of the first round. Remove Kyrie and they are still in the Finals, just with fewer style points. People who suggest Irving is the better player because he has outscored LeBron 2 straight games need a reality check.

LOL. RJ said LeBron hasn't said anything - not even to his teammates. RJ offered it all on his own, saying he thinks LeBron got the bug because Deron Williams missed shootaround with a bug and he noticed LeBron has been more lethargic (off the court) than normal. RJ admitted he doesn't know, its just his own speculation.

And he didn't use it as an excuse, he was just answering a question honestly with the insight he had.
