A. Victor is on the 2017 Lott trophy impact player list for best defensive player. Porter Gustin and C. Smith are on it for USC
Not worried about it either way. That top 50 was just some NFL reporter looking forward to his list of 50 prospects going into next year he most wants to watch and ranked them. I was just telling Oly that Freeman's injury is certainly a factor for that particular list. Just like Victor. Provided Azeem stays healthy there is no way he doesn't end up in the top 50 draft picks next year which means he probably belongs on a short list, but guys coming off big injuries are often moved back until they reclaim the accolades again and I'm entirely fine with that.

I mean Browning and Vita Vea were the only two he had on that list and I'd say right now Victor should end up the top draft pick next year at least on paper. He's just a filthy animal back there.

This 2018 NFL mock draft has Vita goin in the top ten. If Victor is above him that would mean he's back and had a great year. Fingers crossed.

Pac-12 football power ratings (post-spring practice edition)
PAC-12 football post-spring power ratings

1. Washington: Primary reason to pick against the Huskies (the rebuilt secondary) isn’t nearly as legit as it seems: The unit is remarkably deep and won’t experience the backslide many expect. Everywhere else, UW is loaded.

2. USC: Encouraging developments for the Trojans on the defensive line this spring. If everything falls into place on the other side of scrimmage, count USC as a playoff contender.

3. Stanford: Easy to overlook the Cardinal with the exodus of elite talent and the injury to QB Keller Chryst. But the secondary should be outstanding, and most other units are well stocked.

4. Colorado: Defending division champs: Handling the expectations that come with those three words could be as challenging for the Buffs as replacing the lost personnel.

5. UCLA: Healthy Josh Rosen + coaching staff upgrades = improved attitude and potential for major performance upgrade.
(Enough of an upgrade to keep Jim Mora off the hot seat? Possibly.)

6. Utah: New OC Troy Taylor should help the downfield passing game. But the loss of four offensive line starters to the NFL Draft will cut deep.

7. Oregon: New coach Willie Taggart has succeeded in changing the narrative and energy in Eugene. Just as important: The offensive line should be vastly improved. Over/under on win-total turnaround: 3.5.

8. Washington State: No reason to project a significant backslide, but the Cougars lost just enough high-end talent to make me think they might lose ground to Stanford and Oregon.

9. Arizona State: Struggle early, and it could completely unravel. My current thinking: Offseason staff changes/personnel additions help the Sun Devils end their freefall.

10. Oregon State: The ceiling is low until the Beavers upgrade their offensive line and gain consistency at quarterback.

11. Cal: Moving in the right direction under new coach Justin Wilcox, even if the won-lost ledger doesn’t show it. And it won’t, at least for the upcoming season.

12. Arizona: The list of concerns starts at quarterback and winds through both lines of scrimmage. If you can’t block and tackle, the pace-of-play is meaningless.

Does that mean the over/under on how many games Oregon will win or on how many more they will win?

3 non conference games, both Arizona schools, Cal, Oregon State, UCLA Utah and or WSU all potential wins.
Washington State is going to be a tough one. No idea what ASU will look like this season. Oregon St. is another one that shouldn't be overlooked.

Ranking the Pac-12's College Football Coaches for 2017

1. Chris Petersen, Washington

washington-huskies.png
In just three seasons, Petersen has transformed Washington into one of the PAC-12’s top programs. The Huskies went 8-6 under Petersen in 2014 and finished 7-6 one year later. However, after building the team with a handful of young players from 2014-15, the youth movement paid off in 2016. Washington won its first Pac-12 title since 2000, claimed 12 regular season wins and a berth in the CFB Playoff against Alabama in the Peach Bowl. Success at a high level is nothing new to Petersen. He went 92-12 at Boise State from 2006-13. As a head coach, Petersen has only three years of fewer than 10 wins and has never recorded a losing record.
