It was unbelievable with how much chemistry/trust he formed with the staff instantly. In most organizations it would take a year for the ace of the staff to warm up to any level of experienced catcher let alone a 23 year old (I think) rookie. Catchers have to call the game and it's hard for a pitcher to trust a guy that hasn't seen any of the hitters but with him they seemed to instantly trust him.

If you look at it, the day that he was put on the DL was pretty much the exact moment the M's decent run ended.

Post hoc ergo propter hoc? Probably. But it will still be great to have the guy back.

When Quintero failed to score from 3B to home on a wild pitch that went all the way to the backstop the other day, I said out loud that I couldn't wait for Zunino to get back.

he had a very good second half and his manager stearns said that if he continued his great solid second half in the majors he would not be back
