Ive always said the George Teague Play was my favorite(even though it didnt count)... until the Onside Kick this year or the Kenyan Drake return. That Onside Kick may be the biggest Play in Alabama history. Bigger than the Goal Line Stand vs Penn State, the Run in the Mud,The Kick, Prothros catch...bigger than all of them.

Three that came instantly to mind.

Holy Buckeye
85 Yards Through the Heart of the South
The Spin Move

Not to be a little bitch but that Zeke Elliot run happened when Reggie Ragland and Landon Collins were both in the locker room and we had Freshman playing their positions.

I remember I looked right at my Buddy and called the Fake Punt before it happened. Gamechanger, I think we had all the momentum at that point too. Bastards.
No question. We couldn't do anything offensively up to that point.

You say that like it would have mattered. The only thing that slowed Zeke down in that three-game stretch was Tom Herman mysteriously not giving him the ball at times.

On that play it did... The Replacement for Collins ran hmself out of position and got blocked(Collins was easily the best safety against the run in the country) that year and Raglands replacement was hesistant and got Crack Blocked and put on his ass. Watch the play and watch #11 and #23 on defense.

Not Zeke's fault they couldn't make it a full four quarters

There is an old saying, "Never let a game come down to last minute when Big Ten refs are calling the game". I think this was just one more example of the truth of that statement. But, because it was so well known, we should have been expecting something, so we have no one to blame but ourselves.

The officiating crew working the game was from the Big East.

You saw the game, right?
You were disappointed, but (dammit) you were impressed and entertained too, right?
You accepted the loss for what it was; gave the Spartans their due, right?

then the split second discrepancy time clock issue was raised; was investigated; was found wanting...
but you, and thousands of ND fans like you, saw that clock issue as reason enough to go into a perpetual, classless denial pout.

ah well...so much for sportsmanship, eh?

Oregon's done plenty since. A lot of teams would kill to be in their shoes lately (including yours). I know 12 in a row stings. Trust me I had to deal with Idaho beating us 12 times in a row when I was growing up in the 80s and 90s, but come on now man. It's been an embarrassing match up for a really long time now. Enough with the jealousy.
Oregon hasn't done shit.

You're 100% right about being a little bitch, that's for sure.

Collins and Ragland weren't going to make a difference on that play. It was blocked perfectly.

Without question, one of my favorite parts about this video is the fact that the game was in michigan yet the crowd absolutely roared when Gonzalez caught the pass. Buckeyes travel.
