Nebraska spent decades hanging with those idjuts, no? They were dragging Nebraska down to their idjut level.

Now that Nebraska is in the Big 10, they'll rise in those rankings.

In the meantime the Big 12 teams will remain idjuts until the entire conference folds like skid marked toilet paper readying for another wipe.

Surely you don't think the B1G extended NU an invite for their academics? At the time, NU was the 8th ranked school academically in the Big 12 when the B1G extended an invite.

The B1G added Their Nebs for numerical reasons with a plus for geographic relativity. Though Omaha's a fine city, Delaney wasn't after THAT TV market. He was after CCG-related revenues and potential leverage for the post-BCS world. Sure, today's college frosh elsewhere probably don't give a hoot in a holler about the Huskers, but their Dads know about Their Nebs' CFB heritage, pay for the IPTV, and probably watch more and varied CFB than their offspring do. Delaney isn't dumb. He just looks dumb and reads in the press like he's dumb.
