The guy in blue (Aloha) is an incoming Freshman that should get some returns... 6'1" 210 fastest kid in the class of 2013. Went for 640 yds in rushing in a game this season...

Hate to burst your bubble WM, but Tyner is not the fastest 2013 recruit.

Nathan Gerry ran a 10.28 100M. White kid from South Dakota coming to Nebraska to play Safety. He is 6'2" and at least 215 pounds.

There is also a kid by the name of Jeryl Brazil heading to LSU. Has the fastest 60M time in the country and I believe he ran close to a 10.1 100m. I believe he may have run a sub 10.1 this year. Not 100% sure.

I would also speculate that there are probably 2 or 3 other guys that will be playing football that ran faster than a 10.38 100m or something of more speed in a 60m dash variety.

I was going to mention Odell beckham jr. He is a little guy who packs a big punch in the return game! Props to Husker OC for name dropping jeryl brazil! We have some serious incoming freshman wide receivers and the number one juco player in the nation.

Speed isn't the only factor in winning this award. Having the ability to tear defenders "loose from their shoes" is just as important.

Rashad Greene is on the list for FSU. But watch out for Karlos Williams. He is a S/LB hybrid, but has been doing KR all last year. If not for holding he would have had 5 KRs for touchdowns.

Colin Locket from SDSU is on that list. He's a fast mo fo.

Opened the game on the Smurf turf with a kick off return that set the tone of the entire game vs. BSU last year in our upset there.

Excellent point. A lot of times, teams don't have their fastest 40 guy returning the kicks. Not only do you have to be cat-quick, but with guys coming at you full-boar, you have to be able to break a tackle and also have impeccable field vision.

The best... Black Mamba... DeAnthony Thomas

Not sure if he qualifies for this award, but he is ridiculous.

Highlights for yall, even if you hate the Ducks, enjoy these amazing plays by Mamba

The black mamba is pretty sick. I know Chip Kelly has him targeted for the draft. Would love to see him on the Eagles. Btw, fuck the Ducks.

^^^^

If Oregon uses him as their primary kick returner, he's where my money is to win it. Dude just makes people look silly.

This past season was actually a tough year for kick return specialists across the board.

Nebraska's special teams were atrocious.
