Your luxury FA signing

Forget cap madness and choose 1 remaining FA you would like to see the Lions sign this year.

For me, it's Julius Peppers. We don't need him, and he'll probably only play 1 year, but seeing him in Lions colors vs. the Bears now that slow thinking Willie is in Chicago would be nice.

I think Peppers has a little gas left in the tank, wouldn't mind seeing him play next to Suh, Fairely and Ansah.

For me its dominique rodgers-cromartie. He's only 27, he's 6'2'' (huge for a CB), and has blazing speed. I think he Ran a 4.29 40 yard dash or something

These aren't fantasy picks, they're both realistic, or at least they were. We were reportedly interested in Clemons before we signed 'Digs. Edelman is still a realistic possibility, imo...

Fantasy and reality can mesh. Edelman would be great. Good reliable hands, accepts whatever role is asked of him. He is a team player. Those guys are great to have.

I'm thinking he meant "not fantasy" as in we may still get one or both of them, not a fantasy football team. Lol

Alteraun Verner. Unfortunately he is signed already. I would take DRC if we get a good price. There is a chance he will be shunned for mentioning retirement.

Peanut and Brandon Browner are the two most realistic options for us at this point, imo. Both will come far cheaper than DRC, who very foolishly turned down $9 million a year to play with the Broncos. That kind of cash to play for the best team in the AFC, and he said "no thanks, I can do better"? Dumb as dirt, apparently...

I forgot about Browner, that'd be nice too. Peanut being our vet corner, like Mathis but better, would be great. I was surprised he didn't sign with Tampa yesterday, still think he will eventually, but a guy can dream. Jared Allen isn't coming here but Id all about it. Hate to see him go to the Bears or Sqwuaks.
