and I think The Carol Burnett Show might have been the best variety show ever.

Nobody has mentioned Gunsmoke, one of the longest running TV shows ever. There were a lot of good actors who got guest parts on Gunsmoke...and some who made their TV premiere on Gunsmoke.

I just watched an old episode of the Beverly Hillbillies this morning. Jed got a hairem of girls given to him by the Shiek and Jethro was jealous and traded away Ellie Mae to the Sheik , it was a classic.

Smoking crawdads and Dave Drapers bumps also.
