No change to 4 of my top 5 teams, just the order.
1. Alabama
2. Georgia
3. TCU
4. Clemson
5. Ohio State
As I've been saying each week and will continue doing so, Penn State has played absolutely nobody thus far therefore doesn't belong in any top 5 list yet. I've been saying the same thing about Washington as well. (And they just bowed out to lowly ASU.)
Penn State likely loses at Ohio State in 2 weeks. But if they win, they'll finally make my first Top 5 list of the season. Stay tuned on that folks...
Clemson lost Bryant, but still only lost by 3 on the road in a tough environment, so I drop them to 4.
Clemson controls their own destiny and still have the chance of picking up 4 more quality wins (GT, at NC State, at South Carolina, ACC CCG). Plus FSU mixed in. That's an extremely difficult remaining schedule and it's unlikely Clemson will pull it off, but IF they do somehow happen to run the table from here, the committee won't leave them out as the defending champs.
