if Houston loses to someone like Tulsa(not Southern Mrs)

TCU could very well be in a BCS bowl because they would be MWC champions and will likely be in the top 16 with teams in front of them having to play each other

the Big East won't have anyone ahead of them if they win out.

how about that?

Big East needs to give BSU their game as a welcome to the conference gift.

It's complete crap that one of those horrid teams will get in a big game and a team like BSU won't.

I'm sure OU was happy to get the BCS win. I know I would be at this point!

Losing 2 in a row sucks. (wouldn't have imagined bitching about getting to 2 huge bowls 20 years ago!)

What I just realized is BSU dropped less after losing to TCU than Oregon did after losing to LSU.

I hope we never scheduling anyone tough OOC again. No point.

At the beginning of the year, there are more teams that are still in the mix to jump you. Basically, there less teams to justify putting ahead of BSU now than there were to justify putting ahead of you when you lost. There was one game to go off of and depending on how you viewed it, Oregon wasn't really ever in the game.

Comparing a week one change in rating to a week 12 change in rating is pointless.

If you would've had LSU scheduled for last week and lost, you would not be ranked as high as you are now. In the long run, it helped you.

You know what's crazy? The ACC may have the 6th and 7th ranked teams play for the conference championship and only the winner will go to a BCS game... Instead, teams like Michigan, Houston, or the Big East winner would go ahead of an 11-2 team with at least three wins over ranked opponents...
