that is also a distinct possibilityI think they are after Trey Lance
i posted his presser , he said itI dont think we have the draft capital to move up into the top 10 to draft a QB. They didn't promise Fitz the starting job? Then why would he sign here?
Because no one was promising him a starting job. But he should be able to beat out Heinieke and Allen. If not, not huge loss financially.I dont think we have the draft capital to move up into the top 10 to draft a QB. They didn't promise Fitz the starting job? Then why would he sign here?
Love his runsTough as nails, high release, throws from different angles, can make all throws, works the middle of the field, moves his feet well, trust 1 on 1 throws, moves his feet well, repore with TE's, energetic player, makes those around him better, instinctive, throws nice deep ball.
Seems to outweigh the negatives. Enjoy!
I like the PU , he at least had 2 working legs and will fucking throw itThe Junkies interviewed him early this morning and were suggesting he might run in a few TDs. He said I can assure you non of them were planned runs. I think he will have ups and downs but I think he will be fun.
He has a self confessed average arm. He doesn't do a lot of extra throwing preferring to save his arm for games. He will throw the ball downfield.
skinsdad where are you getting this 100mil in cap space claim next year from?

74 million in 2022. That is also without Jonathan Allen and Fitz.
i threw 140 mil out there and i got that from sportstrac because the new TV contract will bump it upSo if we end up with another FA/traded QB, and resign JA, we're actually looking at 30 something mil, is that your estimation also? I could be wrong but I'm almost sure Skinsdad threw 100mil out there
Ok cool, next year hopefully our top talent gets locked into dealsi threw 140 mil out there and i got that from sportstrac because the new TV contract will bump it up
you also have to take into account that these new FA signings that pushed hits into year 2 also affect that figure
