I usually think upset picks are bad picks, but here you go.

Not sure all of these are upsets, but games that are close and/or interesting based on where teams once were.

TCU 2 point favorite over Texas.

Texas Tech 3 point favorite over Oklahoma

Duke 1 point favorite over VT (horrible pick IMO)

BYU 6 point favorite over Boise St tonight.

South Carolina 1 pt favorite over Missouri

Iowa 8 point favorites over Northwestern

Oregon is likely under valued offensively due to them shutting down so early in so many games vs bad teams. Games like this usually help fix it.

That said, UCLA does have a pretty good defense and hasn't given up more than 27 all year long. So I would be surprised if Oregon does score 35 in the first half.

Iowajerms picked Duke over Va Tech and I actually like that pick due to the fact they can score some points...the tech game and Mizzou game are interesting as well...it will be interesting to see how you do

I was being sort of facetious there. Oregon normally turns on the afterburners in the 3rd quarter.

I agree that UCLA has had a decent defense, but this Oregon offense is on another planet. The real problem for UCLA is they are starting 3 true frosh O linemen in this game due to injury. I don't care how good their defense is, if their offense can't stay on the field long that defense is going to be totally worn out by half time and the race will be on in the second half. This is one of those cases where the computer models can't predict changes due to injury and the results will be well off because of it.
