No she does make it to Paradise Valley and dies under a tree so I guess she won't be buried in the family plot since she chose the spot to be buried.
I just watched the last couple episodes last night. I actually liked the ending. Wasnt sure I was gonna, the way it was heading

So it turn's out their won't be a season 2 of 1883 according to Taylor Sheridan so I guess the next one in the Yellowstone series will be 1932

I’m OK with that. Pretty much all loose ends were tied up in the finale.

I would like to know how James survives the incident & wounds ten years later from Season 4 though…

Late to the party, on episode 6 Season 1. I'd be farther along but the missus has decided she wants to watch it so I have to wait for her availability.

So I'm killing time now with Breaking Bad which I never really watched. At least I can watch when I want to though.

Very glad you’re plugging into BB. It’s a hell of a ride.

Just started watching recently, up to halfway into season 3. After watching the 1st episode, i told my wife this show is like the Godfather on the ranch some many similarities. The war hero son, that tries to be a good person that doesn't want to join the family business and just continues a downward spiral of morality. The kid taken in, the family lawyer, the angry son gunned down, the daughter trying to find her place in the family, the head of the family that has politicians in his pocket.

I guess people are not suppose to like the Indians, because they want their land back from which was once theirs before it was taken, like the great line from the first episode.
John: The cows don't know where the property lines are
Rainwater: Neither did we, until your government told us.

Every character is meh for the most part, except Monica's grandfather and Jimmy. Jimmy trying to make a life for himself, while getting ridiculed and bullied every day. Colby seems like an okay guy, Sam Elliot too. Jamie is okay too, he lets his sister treat like shit, all he wants to do is be like Fredo and try to make the family proud, like Fredo makes bad decisions. I see the reason why him and his sister have an issue, seems completely ridiculous by her to hang on some petty stuff like that and take no accountability

In Yellowstone in season 1 at Lee's gravesite we see all the Dutton ancestors buried on the ranch but I don't think I saw Elsa's grave from 1883.
that's a flaw in the story.

They should have tied it in more.

1883 was a great series I just finished, and have started 1923. I'm disappointed that they don't seem to be tying in much from 1883. It's only 35 years later. They could have brought back James and Margaret, and Elsa's little brother. who she ignored pretty much the entire series.

yea, that sucks..... 1883 could have gone on. They seemed to kind of rush to conclude it.

John and Spencer are Elsa's brothers. John got killed by the sheep man. John was the little brother in 1883.

How did I not hear of this show? Jesus Christ it’s Godfather meets 24 with a side of Pocahontas. Got to the first episode of season 5 and it’s a great fucking show thus far plus I’ve been to the Casino (it is a shitty little casino so I get why the big fat lipped lady hates Rainwater)

It certainly could have. The finale seemed to be quite rushed. They didn't give enough time for the trip to Oregon after wintering in the plains.

Just now finally getting to this. Watching ep 3 now.

I was expecting ridiculous drama, but this is even beyond my expectations. 3 episodes in and the “moral compass” character has already killed 4 people and covered all 4 of them up.
