the remaining holes are obvious and addressed well in other threads. Only so much can be done in two years. Let's also remember that Chip came in late in his first year, so I can't really blame him for not having adequate time to build a staff and scout for the draft in his first year.

Let's be happy with a few things:

I still believe in this offensive scheme. I think more teams will be trying to copy it next year. Chip needs to refine the play calling but we would all bitch regardless so...

Give Billy Davis some credit. He had nothing to work with in the defensive backfield. Hopefully he gets some toys to play with next year. His defensive front has been impressive and our run stopping has been really good this year.

Another draft and free agency period fills a lot of holes.
