Rock doesn't mention anything other than Boston and New York in his thread titles. Ever.

He's a simple, sad, silly man.

The Padres swept the last two series and are 2 games out for the division. If we can just keep winning I think they might go after an arm. :hope:

They'd probably be willing to unload Quentin.

Of course the Yanks need another DH like a MLB team needs Stephen Drew.

Yeah. Quentin is Wells redux

I'd like to expand the Yankee offer for that Headley fella

VP says "tell jeff i didnt get banned because of adsense and google!!! not at all, nothing to do with it"

VP isnt reasonable, never has been

Ok, he got banned for continuously badgering Hammer and the admins with questions after being told to stop. Or at least that's how I perceived it. I know he didn't have a questionable avatar. And he may not have been aware of the level of grief Hammer was getting which, for the most part, was over the Adsense/Google/avatar issue that pushed Hammer to the breaking point. Thus, I guess VP felt it was unfair that he couldn't get a satisfactory explanation. But fair or unfair, he was warned to stop and he didn't because he just had to keep trying to get that explanation for his perceived injustice.

Look, I have no problem with VP. He's a good poster. Wish he could have just "shut up" and stayed here. Wish they all could have......well, except Snoogins.

Not in the rotation, that's fer sure

Yanks can't score, they can pitch

True story:

Boston starters: 3.79 ERA in 71 games, 425 innings
Yankee starters: 3.85 ERA in 69 games, 413.2 innings

Outside of Kuroda...that starting pitching has looked consistently mediocre to worse...all year long...

If the bats don't wake up, I wouldn't expect to see them competing this fall for very much...
