Yankees* lose faith in Rivera

Yanks got RSox (twice), Rays, Os, Jays, Giants & 'stros left. Last 3 could be cake. Other 3 are all contending & wont be walk-overs. Os got the same sched less Giants & 'stros - add in Chisox who can always surprise. We got Os, Mets, Royals (twice), Chisox (twice), 'stros & Twins. Both Os & Tribe having a ton of trouble scoring with RISP

Im still calling no WC for 3/3.5 out teams

They won't be walk overs. If the Yanks can go 4-3 or 5-2 against the Sox I'll be fine. Then if they go 4-3 against the Rays/O's and wipe the floor with the Jays, Giants, Stros, and White sox we should be in

No, he's just wildly inconsistent and his team will likely not rely on him in certain situations.

This would be wildly inconsistent.

That is irrelevant now. If a batter is hitting .345 with 4 HR and 15 RBI in his last 40 AB's but batted .187 with 0 HR and 3 RBI in the 40 AB's before that. Is he struggling or not?

Oh, so now at least you're admitting that he "had 1 week" which I think you meant to say is the week his ERA was almost 20? I asked a simple question. "What about the 6 IP prior to his last?" So you're exaggerating, not me.

yep, it was Miggy and Vmart.....guys he has faced for a DECADE and handled like they were 2nd graders in a 6th grade game.....had nothing to do with laws of averages or 40 something years old....

I don't have a problem with it. Dislike who you want to dislike. I just don't understand it. Of all the guys to dislike, Rivera seems like a pretty unworthy target of such contempt.
