The Antonio Brown comparisons are interesting. If you get off the line quick enough, the DBs don't have an opportunity to put a hand on you.

Richardson is missing the most important off-season of a player's career (2nd). My expectations of him are tempered quite a bit.

Hilton is another guy with his type of build who lines up outside and abuses bigger DBs.

He wants to wait and re-enter the draft in 2016. The way he and his peeps are handling this, his involvement is likely just questioning and due diligence by the cops. Tough break if that's the case. Personally, I think the NFL should have let him withdraw from this draft and enter the supplemental draft once the smoke clears.
If he cleared he wants to wait until 2016 rather then be a FA in 2015. Why?

Idk. Money probably. But I read a statement from him earlier asking teams not to draft him so that he can reenter next year.

Confirming that he was drafted as a conversion project from Dline to Oline, Pete Carroll states that Kristjan Sokoki will be starting off as a C.

Must admit, I'm surprised.

Pete and the coaches are mad scientists when it comes to finding supreme athletes and developing them into NFL players. They keep you guessing all the time, but then the end product can leave you with a perma woah face cause it works.....really good. That's the Seahawks. Keeps you on your toes and learning.

I think we had a great draft filling up our depth at certain positions. I would also like to throw in the Seahawks signing UDFA Nate Boyer LS from Texas. Man served our country and is a hero for protecting this great country we live in. Congrats on this big accomplishment for him and wish him nothing but the best of luck and welcome to the Seahawks!

Whether he sticks or not, at least Carroll is giving him his time in camp to give it his all. Gotta respect the hell out of that.

There might be occasions when a team should sign a guy that might not have much of a chance to make the team.

Kudos to Pete and Nate. But he'll have to start eating some good home cooking. 197 # for a LS? Hope he makes it. "Merica"

So true! He has accomplished so much in life by protecting our freedom and now he gets to live his dream by suiting up in an NFL uniform. Lots of respect and I hope he makes the roster.

His story is so much more than just protecting our freedom. Read the yahoo article on him I linked in the post I made about him in the NFL general board.

He not only was a walk on at Texas who had never played football before and ended up a starter, but he did so while also spending all of his summer time away from school still working for the special forces over seas. He taught himself long snapping while on deployment in Greece by watching youtube vids and impressed the coaches so much he won the vacant starter job shortly after he returned for fall camp.

His story is amazing and worth the time to go read.

I watched NFL Network's coverage of the draft and when I saw this story, I figured that if he didn't get drafted the Seahawks would give him a call. He just seems like the type of person and player that Carroll would want.
