Which NFL Wide Receivers, veteran and rookie, have the Largest Hands ? I believe that there is a direct relationship between WR's with large hands and success on the football field. I've tried to research this with no good results. Therefor I've started this thread in an effort build a list of the large handed that can be compared with more traditional statics.

I'll thank this threads posters now as I look forward to reading your post. :welcome:

I think Fitzgerald has the largest of any active NFL WR (10.5") and has statistically the fewest drops (by far) of any active WR.

That said, it's just one of the tools but certainly helps. Cooper and Beckham Jr. (recent drafts) have some pretty good sized hands (10" each) I believe as well.

I believe that Calvin (Megatron) Johnson has extra large hands as well. I know that measurements are taken from the wrist to the end of the middle finger. Players with larger hands, IMO, are better able to catch passes from NFL QB's.
Yes, hand size alone does not a quality receiver make, but cross checking hand size with receptions/ TD's may prove to be most interesting. In fact more interesting than the attempts steer this thread into the gutter.

These data points do not seem to indicate that hand size has much of an impact on the drop rate. Even further, when you look at the correlation coefficient, an equation that measures the relationship between two variables, it’s clear this data indicates there is almost no correlation at all.

Wide Receiver Hand Size to Catch Rate Study | NFLBeliefs

Written by Kevin Wilson, a want-to-be sports writer who would like to writing about the NE Patriots.
Now I'm sure his work is correct, yet a list of WR's and their hand size was the question. There may be more to look at than this Kevin Wilson has covered. The bother is that measuring hand size is not a standard published statistic. Many WR's have never even been measured.

Largest hands in the NFL right now are DeAndre Smelter for the 49ers. His hands were 11" long.
