Both will be gone by 10 after that combine.

Again, I'm not real sure why we are even having this discussion, one if not both of these guys were probably going to be gone by the time we pick anyway, the same goes for the top two QB's!

We've been broken for a lot of years now, and the main reason we are broken is because we don't have a very good oline. If the reason we are and have been broken is because we don't have a good oline, how do you fix that, gee let me think! Hey maybe fix the oline?

But I guess that's just crazy talk!

probably but there are so many good pass rushers and they usually go before the WR. Really good news for the Rams if they do though since they Probably won't go WR anyway. somebody else will fall to us.

I hope that is the case, this WR talk is just that, talk!

Not if they have a WR high enough on their board especially if we lose Britt. A stud WR will always be more valued in the top of the draft vs a not so strong OL class. its good but very deep so we could get line help later possibly. if Cooper or White is there it will be hard to pass them up. Thats why I hope they get our Center in FA then we can always get a guard in the 2nd or 3rd rd. Looks like they are trying to restructure Long to play RT.

guard from Duke is a beast too.

This is exactly why I don't even bother with mock drafts,or the combine, everybody gets goo goo ga ga, over this guy or that guy and then it's just like the draft , some of these guys pay off, some of them aren't all that!

The list of can't miss studs that did missed is probably just as long as the list of mid round picks that made it! You never know until you actually know!

I can tell you the Center from Harvard wasn't at the combine I believe.. he stood out at the senior bowl.

Although the combine isn't everything.. it can help narrow your decision if it's between 2-3 guys. Have the Rams fell in love with the combine? Ask Jason Smith

Wisnewski would be the logical FA for Center but I'd rather the Rams take two rook O-lineman in the draft as deep as it is for O-lineman.

Mayock stated that if the Rams are going WR at ten, barring any trades, he suggested they take White. But Smed is right and Mayock also stated he believes the Rams will go O-LINEMAN at ten.

Both would be fantastic gets but the Rams need OLine I agree with you guys and you can still get a good WR later. Several were impressive. Could also get Coates or DGB and have another quality WR.

Senior bowl performaces aren't exactly the best indicator either. You basically have a bunch of 3rd and 4th tier prospects competing against each other. The top guys rarely participate.

He also said that he doubts the Rams will go QB in the first when told a colleague had Jameis sliding to #10. Grain of salt I guess.

I'm seeing more and more mocks during this process that don't have any OL in the top 10. For a team that needs inside and RT help, it would be very odd if the Rams were to take the top LT to play him out of position. It's just not good value for the pick IMO.

Defense I believe will dominate the top 10. Cooper/White are both top 5 picks but may slide because of all the Skilled pass rushers.

1. BUCS QB JW FL ST. won't surprise me if MM goes here.
2. TENN QB MM ORE
3. JAGS DT/DE Williams USC
4. OAK DE/LB Fowler FL this guy is a beast!! the K. Mack of this draft. Most have a WR mocked here but i think the D talent will be to high in a deep class of WR's
5. SKINS DE/LB Beasley CLEM
6. JETS DE/LB RAY MIZZOU
7. BEARS DT Shelton WASHINGTON
8. ATL DE Gregory NEB I can't believe he just weighs 235?? very light.
9. NYG WR White/Cooper OR OT Peat STAN
10. STL OT Scherff IOWA

Dominate? I think Oakland will take a WR, that would be 5 offensive and 5 defensive players? Even if it goes as you say, that's not dominating!
Hey, love picking on you Coug!:)

DE/OLB BUD Depree could sneak into the top 10 too. I wonder if the Rams could have him on their radar. THIS BEAST could replace Dunbar and possible take over for C.Long eventually. He just ran a 4.57 40 at 6'4" 268!! Thats faster then Ogletree who ran 4.65

Winston, Mariota, Williams, White and Cooper are all locks to go top 9 imo. 4 offensive locks and 1 defensive.

I think there are a number of defensive prospects and offensive linemen that could go top 9 but none of them have separated themselves.

My guess for the Rams at 10 is DJ Humphires, Ereck Flowers or Devante Parker. Flowers worries me a bit because he thinks he can be his own agent.

edit: typo
