I saw Merriweather use his helmet against Lacy who left the game. No penalty
Then Merriweather used his helmet against the next RB & gave himself a concussion & again no penalty.
Yet I keep seeing plays that look clean to me get called.

WTF are the Refs doing. that is about as bad as an Ump not being consistent on Balls & strikes.

Wouldn't be surprised to see Merriweather be given two fines this week.

I don't know him as a player, but with all the calls for safety against good hits, why would the refs miss the most obvious ones. He was the epitome of the rule they are trying to enforce. leaving the ground using his helmet like a missile. Refs missed the call twice. & in both plays, players were injured.

That rule is hard to enforce. Something like between the tackles it is ok. Some stupid crap like that.

yup, I figure it will only come up when a ref calls in incorrectly.

That is why I'm watching for it. I fully expect the first time it is called to be against Dallas, and probably incorrectly.

Did think it was funny as fuck he knocked himself out doing it .... Talk about Karma smacking a bitch upside the head.

And yeah as a player he has a major history of doing it..... I expect the league to come down hard.
