Well now MSU has given Wisconsin some bulletin board material with Lewis' threat to "hurt" Russell Wilson. Normally that's just football talk, but from a Spartan it sounds like he's planning on playing dirty.

I don't think that's ever been just football talk, personally. You say you're going to hit a guy. You say you're going to shut him down. You don't say you're going to hurt him.... I have absolutely no respect for Dantonio and his players.

Sorry RC, but fuck MSU. I hope they lose out the rest of the season and Dantonio gets fired.

Anybody else see their defensive coordinator's response yet? "That's what we try to do. 60 minutes of unnecessary roughness."

LOL

Man. Never thought I'd hear that stuff from a Big Ten coach.

Actually, I kind of like where he's coming from on that one. Granted it's a terrible week to say it, given how out of hand it got, and I'm sure he meant more playing tough and hard football rather than trying to break a guy's neck, but it's a GREAT sound byte.

It probably would have been better had he said something like 60 minutes of legal illegality or something like that, though.

I think maybe his players are misunderstanding him...
