There is no way even Dantonio lets him play. The punch is one thing. The Denard facemask tug is much, much worse. That's just as bad as the Illinois punch, and possibly even worse. If Dantonio doesn't suspend him, i'd imagine Jim Delaney or the NCAA might, right?

fify, doesn't surprise me, later in the game he when he was also called for another personal foul when he swung at the player's head. Should have been thrown out of the game right there.

I mean, an extra shove or something, just give them the 15-yard PF penalty. Even punches are a different story. They shouldn't happen, but they do. Unless they're really egregious, I wouldn't even be too adamant about a suspension for a first offense.

But you do NOT twist another players facemask like that. Neck injuries are nothing to mess around with. And by the way, this is not the first time Gholston has done something like this. He's a thug.

As a MSU alum and fan, I wish Gholston was benched the rest of that game. You want to hurt that Farberge Egg, catch him in the open field, legally, and lay the lumber. Terrible. I hope Coach D doesn't start him next week. Our lockeroom material has been the comment by Gary Coleman aka Mike Hart and a general lack of respect as a rival. Oh lord that was painful. Man, did we get jobbed in the bowl selection. But for Iowa, we would've been in the Rosebowl. Instead we end up playing maybe the best team in the country last year. For Crissakes I'll never forget Saban's frustration with OUR team as he was trying NOT to run up the score.

Was that after Gholston dove on the pile late and shoved his forearm/elbow into the back of one guy's neck several times? Or maybe after a dozen or so dirty plays? Just wondering. The guy is a piece of shit.
