Danny Watkins, who has emergency medical training as a firefighter, immediately jumped in to help Mike Patterson, then yielded to trainers.
Danny Watkins told reporters that Mike Patterson would be OK. Watkins went on the scene to assist Patterson, using his rescue experience.

That game is all about setting up yourself up to just slam the fuck out of the ball. Pass it back to your defenders, set the ball up, and SPIN SO HARD THE TABLE BREAKS.

Looks like Patterson has a congenital issue in his head. I'm not even gonna try to pronounce it, but it doesn't seem football related, so that's good. Sounds like it'll be surgery or radiation treatment, though, so I don't know how much he will play this season, if any.
