Fletcher Cox and Brandon Boykin?

The Eagles are rumored to have those two on the block, along with Mychal Kendricks in an effort to acquire more ammo in order to move up for Marcus Mariota.

If they'd give us Cox and Boykin for our pick #23 would you take that deal?

I would.

Both are quality young starting defensive players who would instantly plug two holes for us. We might be able to land an even better player with our pick, but we might draft a total bust, too. Imo, going with the sure thing of Cox and Boykin is a smart move.

We could probably land a 3rd or 4th next year in that deal, too, if Philly is desperate enough to move up for Mariota. I also like Kendricks a lot, he's highly athletic and a decent pass rusher and fair in coverage, but we're pretty deep at LB- I'd rather have a 2016 pick than him.

Both players are only 24, and Cox would fill the starting spot next to Ngata, allowing Tyrun Walker to rotate off the bench with both players, and giving us a damn-strong DT rotation, even after losing Suh and Fairley. Boykin is a dynamite nickel CB who is a playmaker in the slot.

We have lots of needs up and down the roster, and much like trading back, this move would allow us to bag two starters with one pick. That's my take on it, at least.

I really liked Kendricks coming out of Cal and you're right on about Boykin could be that slot corner. I do like where we're at with the LB corp. Man, you got me thinking but my 1st instinct is to say no. gotta think about this.

Boykin by himself I'd be interested in, just not with a first involved.

Chip can promote Cox as his MVP if he wants, I'm not buying it.

Cox has waxed and waned since coming out of MSS, IMO, whether it was when Andy Reid was HC or Chip.

I do like Kendricks and Boykin but it's a no for me even if Cox was in there. Kendricks and Boykin are in there last year of contract, I believe.

I think with that trade a 3-4 would be more likely, Cox and Jones on the outside Kgata as the DT, Ansah as a LB. I think those 2 make a good value for that pick, but I am not sure I like what it does overall.

For all three of them with contract extensions done maybe. Without extensions then no. Pretty comfortable that LewanDUI can't wrap up three new contracts in the next eight hours

I think they are in the last year of their contracts, but I believe we'd have the option to pick up the 5th year option on both guys, giving us 2 years of team control on each...

I think Cox would fit fine as a 4-3 DT. He's fair pass-rusher as a DE in Philly's (mostly) 3-4 attack, and he's strong against the run, from my understanding, at least...

I think we'd inherit the option to extend the contract.

I do like Kendricks, but we have zero need at LB, I'd rather finagle a 2016 3rd or 4th instead, and I think we could do just that...

No for me. Maybe some sort of swap on their 2nd round pick for our first and Boykin, but I would rather trade back for more picks instead.

Cox is definitely the big fish in the deal. I'd take their 2nd and Cox for our 1st, but not the same deal for Boykin...

I am not a fan of Cox. Plus with all the DT depth in this draft, the last thing I want to do is use it to add an existing DT who we will have to pay more money for.

I guess I wouldn't do it because I dont like them that much and it would depend on who's on the board.

You will have a need at LB next year when Tulloch is gone. Possibly sooner if he ends his season this year jumping around like he just had a battery acid enema. Just another dumbass on a team run by dumbasses.
