There aren't currently a dozen as talented as Bell. But that's my point. The best RB in the game isn't enough to get you a SB, otherwise the Steelers would have one with him. So why waste assets on a RB that doesn't help win the big one? Unless you're already a stacked team.

RBs have a 5-10 year shelf life usually and Bell has 1) a TON of wear on his body given # of receptions, 2) suspension issues in the past, 3) has vocally said he wants more money, 4) runningbacks grow on trees, 5) 1 year left on his contract and it's a tag so $14.5M which few teams can afford if they already franchised someone, 6) deep RB class, 7) Bell has the luxury of playing for a good offensive line, the best WR in football, and a HOF QB. Not going to be the same on a lot of other teams.

Great question steeler pride!! Bell is a dynamic player. No doubt. The problem is obviously if you trade for him then you've gotta commit big money to his contract. Depends how much cap space a team has. The more they have the more they might offer. A,so, gotta keep in mind he's one more weed violation from a suspension.

Given all these variables, I think the range is a 3rd or 4th rounder depending on the tram. Maybe somebody with a ton of space and mutiple picks goes for a 2nd rounder. I think if the steelers got that they should pounce on it. Otherwise, let him play it out, let him walk and then get a compensatory pick when he leaves.
