If you are a NFC playoff team and knew you had to go to one of those 2 spots for your divisional game who do you prefer?m At Dallas or At Seattle??

Depends on the roster. If I magically placed the Chiefs in the NFC playoff picture I would definitely be more concerned with Seattle than Dallas, personally. In most instances it's probably Seattle teams would like to play.

Tough call. Seattle's run game has been pretty abysmal this year and Wilson seems to be hit or miss. Some games he looks great, others he looks horrible.

Trying to throw as much bias aside... PROBABLY Dallas. Seattle I think is a bit tougher at the moment, mostly because a) it's a longer flight (generally, but if you're like the Giants, Bucs, Falcons or something, jeebus), b) crowd in Seattle is a bit more hostile, c) Some teams aren't used to play outdoors (Falcons) or have warmer weather (Bucs) for example.

Also, Wilson and a lot of the Seahawks players are playoff/Super Bowl seasoned. Dak/Elliott are still rookies and the pressure (mentally at least) may get to them. Also, Cowboys haven't been in the playoffs a ton in the last 5 years. Just once (not including this one), whereas Seattle has been in 4/5 times.

If I am an NFC playoff team and had to choose between Dallas or Seattle I would choose playing the Cowboys. It is almost no brainer to be honest.

I think Dallas is the better football team overall this season

But I want no part of going to Seattle if given the choice

The edge at home, can turn Seattle from a "pretty good" team, to a borderline great team in January

Dallas doesn't get nearly the same edge playing in that shopping mall

I don't know....I would give the Cowboys the edge on offense but on defense it is not even close. I give the Seahawks the edge at QB on offense but that is it to be honest. I think in ever phase defensively the Seahawks are better. Add that to the fact they have loads more playoff experience. I think going into Dallas the Seahawks beat them. I don't think any team goes into Seattle and beats them in the playoffs.

Tough call. Right now Dallas is playing like the better team. But if Sea shows up for the playoffs that is the last place you want to play IMO so I voted @Dal

It has to be Dallas. No disrespect to them, they've had a great season and they are certainly no joke, but this group is being lead by two rookies on offense. Who knows how they'll respond once the playoffs start.

Seattle has been there, done that. We know what they're capable of in January, especially at home. So I'd go with the unknown over the known.

At Dallas and it ain't even close. Seattle is still the better team and Dallas practically has zero home field advantage.

I wouldn't say Seattle is the better team no contest but I sure as hell would not want to play those guys in Seattle. The fact that Dallas is led by rookies and Seattle has been there done that is huge. I think Dallas is more talented but I would not want to go to Seattle and play a game in the playoffs against those dudes.

I think Dallas is having the better season, but I still don't think they're the better team. I'm more or less emphasizing the home field advantage for both teams.......Going to Seattle, especially in the playoffs, can be a death trap. Going to Dallas is like a big tea party.

but on defense it is not even close.

It's not the gaping margin you think it is.

Points allowed per game rank

2. Seattle 16.8
4. Dallas 18.4

....but I probably would lean Dallas.

You are attempting reason in response to a statement where he said Dallas gets "the edge" on Offense...like it's close...
My question is that if it isn't even close on defense and Dallas gets "the edge" on Offense...how are they 12-2 and 4 up in the win column??? Something must be going their way.

That has pretty much nothing to do with home field advantage, which again, was my main point. Guess what team has the only unbeaten record at home? Seattle is the hardest place to play for the opposition....in comparison, playing in Dallas is a joke.

A joke? Clearly you are now making things up. But since Dallas is likely to get HFA I'll be happy when they play Sea in Dallas and you post that there is no chance Sea can win because they are 2-4 on the road. you know, because you are consistent and all...
