Bill Barnwell Of ESPN note has suggested this as a possibility on Thursday.

Finally, Barnwell’s final Washington trade is perhaps the most realistic.

He has Washington sending All-Pro guard Brandon Scherff and the No. 51 overall pick to the New York Jets for the No. 23 overall pick, the No. 86 overall pick and guard Greg Van Roten.

Do you like it or not, more important would you be Ok with it?

I could live with it but not in love with it. Van Roten is ok and nice depth and likely the best we will get for Scherff seeing how they tagged him and likely nothing but a 3rd rounder next year. I'll take it!

Just the suggestion alone is good to hear. I'd hate losing Brandon but if we can get fair to above average comp. I'd do it for someone i didn't draft

my other question is why the hell would the jets take an OG for 18 mil ( you guys dont want to pay it but think some other team will ) the question is if you are the jets do you give up the 23rd pick overall for an allegedly expensive OG on a one year rental ? come on guys

No dad, you would be sure you could sign BS to a long term deal with the trade to protect your new QB Wilson. "If" Brandon is the best in the business at guard, you have to pay the price. At the moment BS is on our team and we are paying the price. It's a sign and trade deal for BS.
