Pretty much the NFL has said to ESPN we will give you one night of football games but well since you are somewhat our competition for viewership how about we just give you the worst game of the week every week. So win/win for the NFL of getting money but not helping out their competing network a whole lot.

Why Chargers and Jags?

Jags played really well last week. I am looking forward to seeing their young talent and the improvement. They have a lot of talent on their team, just need to build the chemistry now.

Chargers played a great first half, but the Keenan Allen injury outside Rivers may be the worst blow they could have suffered, they were really depending on him.

How about Ravens and Browns? I feel bad for Browns fans, and I don't mean that in a condescending way. They really deserve better than this.

I like Jags too. Should be fun team to watch all year. Agree with the Monday nite game though. Both those two teams are capable of throwing up a real stinker. Brown's vs Ravens is a close second.

MNF has been terrible for years, for the most part. It's kind of sad, because when there is a good game on Monday night it sort of extends the football weekend, but when the game is a dud I don't look forward to it, effectively ending the football week on Sunday night.

It probably has something to do with the fact that I live in San Diego and get my fill of the Chargers pretty quickly (one week into the season, lol). Chargers-Jaguars will be televised here Sunday, so I will have to go out to see the Broncos-Colts game. Not a terrible thing, but annoying that such a good game will not be televised here on network TV.

It probably has something to do with the fact that I live in San Diego and get my fill of the Chargers pretty quickly (one week into the season, lol). Unfortunately for west fans we always get SF and Raiders. Pretty much rest of country gets Denver vs Colts on CBS. NFL network will show game prob Tuesday or Wednesday. I will prob go to sports bar that has " Ticket " if I'm not to lazy. Usually I jinx them so I'll prob resist and enjoy win and game via NFL network later in week and suffer thru the " losers " from Cal ( both are 1-0 ) in morn and afternoon. Glad GB and Vikes game caps off Sunday though.

Some reason for the last 5 years when my brother renews his they automatically give him free access online so I use that.

My parents pay for the ticket and never get that hook up. Not sure why he does.

Honestly the Jaguars are maybe the team outside of the Broncos that intrigues me the most this year. I love what they have been doing to build themselves out of the hole that franchise has been in for so long. Bortles reminds me so much of Favre of just loving football and just throwing with very little regard for the consequences. One of the most aggressive QB's in the league. Then that defense looks like it has a lot of great young pieces to build around for the next few years.
