I somewhat agree though. Some of the later picks are not looking promising right now but most do not contribute right away anyhow. Injuries happen, give them a chance to get healthy and practice. We will see in a couple years.

I still think it's still a good chance our first 3 will turn out to be good, if not REALLY good players. That's really about the best you can bet on with a draft. Most 5-7 rounders won't make it long term.

Yeah, OK. Let's label our first round pick injury prone for having one injury. And lets not forget SM traded a number of times that netted an additional 4th (Jets), 5th (Saints) and 6th (Houston) in next year's draft. So he traded out of the middle rounds for future picks.

Calling a draft a bust before the 4th preseason game is premature, meds or not. You could be right but you could be wrong also. Takes about 3 years to give a fair grade on a draft.

You are also correct that Scot is not a god but he has one hell of a track record. None of us here can claim the same thing.
