Even Lewis Hamilton is jumping on the Jannik Sinner wagon.

Whoa

This has been talked about so much and hadn't happened that I just assumed it was click hunting. Huge move.
Where does Sainz end up?

I thought he re-upped at Merc, had a press conference and everything.

Weird. Hope he’s a good mechanic because that car is crap.
He did til the end of 2025, and there are some people wondering what the out clause in his contract stated and what that means for the Mercedes car this year. Is it going to be that bad and he knows it?

It would be great if Frederic Vasseur can get it turned around. And he was Lewis' team boss in F3 and F2 forever ago. Probably figures they can repeat it. Unfortunately, Ferrari the company interferes too much in the team, so I don't expect it..

Where does Sainz end up?
He's too good to vanish completely, I just hope he gets somewhere with a good car. There was already talk that he was high on Audi's list for their 2026 entry.

Ferrari was so worried about reporters leaking photos from the factory, that they put these stickers all over their phone cameras.

Worked flawlessly to stop all photos from that day! :L

Red Bull's first entry in F1 next to the current car. No, this is not photoshopped.

This sums up my feelings about the state of F1 right now.

Guess that's what happens when you sell the whole circus to people who made their fortunes in reality shows. I just want to watch the best drivers, driving the best cars at the best tracks.

While I am focused on the NHL Trade deadline, my other sport is still awash in drama.

After the allegations into team principal Christian Horner were investigated and dismissed "someone" released a bunch of texts to the media. It was since alleged that the woman who is lobbying the allegations is in a relationship with Jos Verstappen, their top driver's dad. Red Bull corp suspended the woman who made the allegation while the investigate the source of the texts. That was 2 days ago. Today, this:

When they used to have "The Superstars" athletic competitions, I seem to recall that F1 drivers always seem to do quite well. Brian Budd (former Canadian soccer player) won it a few years in a row. What I'm trying to say are that these F1 drivers are top flight athletes.

For sure. There was a guy who was from Formula 2 who had to drive last race due to the F1 driver got appendicitis. This is a guy who had been racing lower formula for years, he got into an F1 car and it was like he was a rag doll reacting to the G forces. In the video here, the rookie (Oliver Bearman) is in the yellow helmet, and the regular, Charles Leclerc, is in red. Notice how much Oliver's neck moves compared to Charles.

I would like to see an NHL goalie's reflexes compared to an F1 driver.
