Can't wait. It's gonna be awesome :-/
F1 is saying it's due to "Global TV audience", but the bulk of the F1 audience is in Europe, and that time will make it like 6 AM for most of those locations. Not exactly convenient.Did you see the start time for the race?
Not sure of the reason there.
This day in motorsports history, one of the darkest ones ever. 24 years ago, we lost Greg Moore. Phenomenal driver. Sincerely believe he would have been a CART and F1 champ.
Yes and no. He was on the back of a scooter and it went down and he cut his hand real bad and bruised his hip. But he did a test the morning of the race and was found to have enough pace to drive and was cleared by doctors. Don't think that the hand injury had anything to do with it, but people have to talk about something.Horrific crash. If I remember correctly wasn’t he told not to race that day due to the accident in the paddock the prior day where he broke his wrist?
I cannot believe it’s been 24 years.
/my god, I didn’t realize that he was only 24 years old either.

That was one of the worst moments I ever saw on TV. Senna a few years before that was rough, but the accident itself wasn't as shocking. Moore's was just brutal. From the instant he lost the car, I knew it was gonna be bad. When he hit the inside wall... Just damn. Like Dan Wheldon's crash. You just knew. I remember being furious that they restarted the race and didn't tell anyone until after the race.
I remember that one too. They showed a replay right after and you could hear Paul Tracy say "oh jesus" off mic. Then they went back to another replay while he was talking and he said "We're really gonna show this again? Okay. Not good". I imagine he ripped them apart in the commercial break. Seemed like he was the only one on the broadcast that realized what we just saw.I did see Justin Wilson’s crash at Pocono live when it happened and pretty much knew right away him getting hit with that nose cone dead on in his helmet was not going to end well for him.
Pops and I went to the Indy every year when I was a kid, was at the race where Jeff Krosnoff and a track official died. Don't remember much about the crash or the race but I remember my dad on the train home just being...sad. Was probably the first time I ever saw him like that. Always stuck with me.I remember that one too. They showed a replay right after and you could hear Paul Tracy say "oh jesus" off mic. Edit: Damn. I've watched a lot of drivers die live. Earnhardt, Hubert, Bianchi, Ratzenberger...
Just hop in a cab and go somewhere you can see it better.F1 is really going all out on blocking free views...
I'm currently selling my wife's Mazda 3. It's grey and full of dings but only 95k on the odo and you can get the dings out and get a wrap to make it look like this if you like.Is it just me or is this a pretty sweet looking Mazda 3?
