This tourney is best ignored until we get to the medal round - Even then, it doesn't really move the needle all that much.

so nice of the IIHF to hold a best on best tourney for the World Championship (equal amount of points in ranking as the Olympics)
right smack dab in the heat of the Stanley Cup Playoffs.

the IIHF ranking is used for Olympic qualification, so if you are a team on the cusp of qualifying (say Germany, currently in 9th and top 8 qualify automatically) and Leon Draisitl is busy... too bad.

Zee Germans tie it late in the 3rd with the goalie pulled and then go on to win it in OT over the Americans. Germany versus Canada to decide World Hockey Championships supremacy.

Watching the Indy 500 and between commercials there was a crash and apparently the driver is named Sting Ray Rob.

That sounds like some country/folk singer in a bar in Key West who makes his own guitars out of cigar boxes.

This guy thought he had a good parking spot at the Indy 500.

Crash with 15 laps to go, and a tire came off one of the cars and flew over the fence into a parking lot. Just barely missed a full grandstand.
