I think Mangiapane has played his way onto the 22 Olympic roster. Who does he replace, Marner?

I'm hearing rumours that he could be looking for a 6x6 contract and I'm thinking Vancouver just found their new Loui Eriksson.

/Please Jim, save Brad from making a big mistake lol
Honestly don't think this market would recover from another deal like that

By the way, Owen Power was playing big minutes late in the 3rd period of today's game and looked very good. If the Sabres don't take him, Seattle will.

I wager that Eichel is traded before the draft and they pick a centre and a dman with the first they get from Eichel trade...

Canada is going to the gold medal game. They just scored an empty net goal to take a 4-2 lead. Mangiapane with two goals today including the GWG.

:canada:
Did not think they would get by Finland, Russia or the US.
US spanked them in prelims.

Nice to see the team get on a roll at the right time!

Jimbos rallying cry on the team zoom meetings has been “Operation Bust Hymen out of Toronto”

Canada needs to stay out of the sinbin. No damage done yet, but I don't this parade to the penalty box.

Spoke too soon - Finns cash in to take a 1-0 lead.

Just saw a replay of the Canada penalty that led to the opening goal - Terrible high-sticking call and total head snap embellishment by the Finnish player.

They seemed to really get tikkanen’d that first period. I dont usually buy into the idea that the coach has to remain composed at all times because that rubs off on the players but I think gallant really needs to dial it back in the second period

It wasn't a great opening period for Canada, but I thought they had a slight edge in play overall. Only down by 1, the Finns look like they're going to try to lock things down the rest of the game.
