That is perhaps the most arrogant thing I have ever read from you, 4down.

Pray tell - how to "mid-major fan standards" differ from p5 fan standards?

That would be referring to playing easier schedules and acting as if the team is elite as a result because they won them all. It's most common with mid-major teams for obvious reasons.

It wasn't an insult towards most fans of mid-major teams(except maybe a certain Boise St fan). It was an insult towards the P5 fan and their SoS.

Don't see how it's anymore arrogant than the Iowa fan taunting around the "P5 label" as reason for being worthy while playing a mid-major level strength of schedule to which those teams wouldn't be considered at all.

And that's fine. I'm sure the leader of the Blacklivesmatter or Westboro Baptist opinions are more nationally valuable than mine too. They're both still insane fucktards. Just like people who use FPI as a means,to debate actual rankings
You do know that these aren't poll numbers, right?

These are rankings created by metrics.

They aren't perfect by any means, and shouldn't be used in creating a poll based on performance. Anyone who would use these in determining something that is supposed to be a ranking of performance isn't ranking performance. They're dabbling in fortune telling.

Metrics are nice and all, but they're not infallible. There is still an invisible coin flipping every millionth of a second determining things.

Metrics still need to be held to a standard of not being ludicrous. The FPI IS LUDICROUS, thus making it useless

Tennessee lost to Arkansas. Iowa has at LEAST 3 wins over teams better than Arkansas. I know you think every team would be undefeated playing Iowa's schedule but doesn't make it so.
The real question is... would Iowa be undefeated with Tennessee's schedule? Or even have a better record?

No clue. I know Tennessee is 3-4 with it though

Michigan State should just close up shop on the year because according to this we suck and our players keep getting hurt.
