But after saying all that, if the 49ers end up signing Billy Cundiff off the street, assuming they do cut Akers, I will go crazy. I DO NOT want to see him, but that might not be a fair statement given where Cundiff is at right now in his life.

It's not close, IMO. Walker is our fifth or sixth receiver. Akers is our pro bowl kicker.

Who would you say has cost the 49ers more points though? I'd say Walker, hands down.
