Is it just me or is it a bit premature/ridiculous for the head coach to call out his team after 3 tough losses to 3 tough opponents? If I was on the team id feel like he turned on us...quickly. Way to show support of your team by labeling them "frontrunners"

Witt knows he is coaching for his job & probably willing to do or say whatever it takes to keep it.

I don't have a problem with what he's said. They've played bad ... their worst basketball of the season these past 3 games.

Other then the minutes limit on Nene, Beal & Porter, I'm not sure what the problem is ... but Gortat, Ariza & Webster production has fallen off the past 3 games.

I wasn't sure about this game, but it's nice to see they came away with the win. Good. This return to Indiana will be an interesting game. It'd be nice not to get blown out by 20 points again. I think it'll be a real barometer of where we are with limitations on minutes for a couple of key players, and other key players not exactly on fire since the beginning of the year.

Of course, if Lance Stephenson is still out, that'll help.

So Vesley plays a very solid game and now he doesn't see the court against the Bulls?
What gives?

yeah, was surprised Otto & especially Seraphin, coming off season high night vs the Rockets, didnt get any minutes either.

right or wrong ... Witt decided to go with a tight bench vs the Bulls, using just 8 guys.

Bulls are known for their defense & holding teams to very low FG% ... guessing that might have been a factor in his decision.

Also, Nene returned to the starting lineup last night & was taken off his minutes limit for the first time since ... November ?

Damn, wish I was able to catch that Miami game. Wiz on top 114-97, and that's after letting Miami shave 12 points off the lead in the 3rd quarter.

Lots of people contributing... gotta love it.

#WizHeat Gameday Blog

Knowing the talent level of the defending champions, fans in the Verizon Center became a bit reserved, anxious, and perhaps even worried in the second half

Jesus, this doesn't surprise me. Wished I still lived in the area and could go to the games. I remember going to a game in the nosebleed seats when Mitch Richmond was still playing for the Kings and I was sorely disappointed in the lack of energy in the crowd. Remember getting a few $6 Heinekens in me and amping it up a little and, to my delight, the crowd around me responded. Not so much that we were making it less of an experience for the other fans, but it was nice not to see them sitting in their seats like zombies!

43 point in the first quarter ... just wow.

:yahoo:

They did everything right in the first quarter.

Stout defense & lots of steals which turned into easy transition points.

Great ball movement, and getting contributions from multiple people so Miami couldnt key on one person.

If they can learn to consistently play with the intensity & style they played with in the first quarter ... they can legitimately keep up with any team. Consistency is the key.

Its a damn shame the espn regs never migrated here...they were so hell bent on following EJ to that crap site t...

I think i found a few of them posting over on Real GM. It is VERY crowded over there though.
