OK guys... this is not ANOTHER thread of we should or shouldn't keep Kirk.

Rules are simple... three moves.

With Kirk I make these three moves.


Without Kirk I make these three moves.

I will go first.


With Kirk

1. Resign Brown
2. Draft Vea in the first
3. If Cravens comes back, bulk his ass up and put him back at MLB next to Brown


Without Kirk

1. Resign Brown
2. Draft Vea
3. Draft Rudolph and have McCoy start the season.


So yes I'm curious to see how the plan would change in both events.

With Kirk, I go into the draft looking to replace Colt with our third round pick, no later than the 4th. The earlier picks are settled with me yet, because I'm still evaluating.

Without Kirk, depending on compensation, I go after the upgrade and likely spend a 2nd or less (NFL ruling pending) to get him. If that's not possible ( due to bidding war) TB is also now on my radar as a replacement. Beyond that, all of my picks are still in play except possibly that second, including whatever the compensation there is for Kirk. Again I'm still evaluating so specifics are pending. I still draft Colt's replacement as suggested and we're pretty much settled at QB for the foreseeable future. Then we are also likely in a situation where we have a league wide valued tradable piece behind our starter or his replacement as he ages.

With KC...
1- resign Brown
2- draft Payne or Vea in that order
3- Sign Allen Robinson for at least three years.

Without KC...
1- resign Brown
2- draft Payne or Vea while looking for competition at QB in rounds 2-4 depending on who falls to where.
3- Sign Allen Robinson for at least three years.

Those are the three moves I make regardless of the status of KC.

I limited it to three moves so we wouldn't end up with a book report proclaiming numerous trades and unrealistic signings of like Bridgewater for $2m a year on a 5 year deal.
