Wisconsin needs a Hockey team ASAP

I think they should rethink that. I rarely watch hockey at all right now unless it's the Badgers or Olympics. If there was a Madison, Green Bay or Milwaukee NHL team I would watch all the time and actually follow the NHL. I have A LOT of friends that feel the exact same way that I do. I guess to me it doesn't make sense because by this logic then why did Minnesota get another hockey team after the stars left considering they would have already had said fan base.

I think the simple answer to your question is that Minneapolis is larger than Milwaukee and farther from Chicago.

I agree with the poster that said Milwaukee would be better off with a hockey team instead of a basketball team. That area is a hockey hotbed.

Now we just need to convince Bettman.

Most of my friends including myself root for the stars because we grew up watching Modano and the Minnesota North Stars.

I didn't mean anything by it. If it's any consolation Islanders fans are very excited about former Gambler Anders Lee. He was Green Bay's best player last year & is headed to Notre Dame.
