Outside of punt and field goal protection (which we obviously couldn't have forseen as a weakness), what obvious weaknesses did you see? It's easy to look at the final score and act like a pompous prick, but the reality is there were no huge weaknesses on our team yesterday.

Our O-Line played great. Our QB made a lot of plays. Our RBs helped get over 200 rushing yards against a team that averaged, what, 70 allowed? Our #1 WR played hurt, but our #2 WR stepped up and played like a #1. On the whole our offense was significantly more effective than any other offense played by MSU.

The defense was exactly what we described. Our linebackers were swarming and our defensive backs had good coverage (they never got burnt deep once the whole game). Outside a missed tackle or two by Cromartie, I don't know what more you wanted out of them. The D-Line wasn't great throughout the day, but they came up with some huge stops when we needed them.

Our team ran into a good team that played well yesterday. I'd challenge you to find a weakness in the way Michigan State played yesterday. Their defense missed very few tackles over the course of the game. Their secondary had at most two blown coverages the entire game, which is impressive because of how long Russell gives his receivers to get open. Cunningham is a stud who made a ton of great plays even against great coverage. That is just an extraordinary talent taking over.

Wisconsin played a team that was on their game, making very few mistakes, and having big players rise to the big moments. Even with that, we were the better team outside of kick/punt protection and the Hail Mary at the end. I'm sorry that you need to diss our team to make yourself feel better, but i'd challenge you to find an obvious weakness in our team yesterday outside of special team protection. If you can't find one (and i'm pretty certain there isn't one to find), you need to shut the fuck up.

Really? I need to dis Wisconsin to make me feel better? Explain to me why that would be. Probably just jealousy on my part right? Yeh.

I wasn't even dissing Wisky, I was just joking about a certain poster acting like Wisconsin "has no weaknesses"..lol. Wasn't meant to offend anyone, didn't mean to get your panties in wad. Fact is, there are weaknesses, even if it's only a mental weakness, because they fucking lost. If somebody proclaimed that Bama had no weaknesses, and then we turned around and lost, you'd think that shit was funny too, so fuck off.

There's a difference between having a weakness and being an imperfect team that loses in an off day against a team having an on day. There was no mental weakness yesterday. What happened was a very good, complete team played their C- game against a good team playing their A+ game with their superstars. You can go to the "mental weakness" thing, but I don't think R. or anybody else meant "they will be thee best at every position on every single play" when they said we have no weaknesses. What was meant was that we are a very complete team with no obvious holes. To laugh at somebody for a statement that hasn't been proven wrong is a little stupid, don't you think?

No, I don't think that's stupid. I do think it's stupid to pretend that any team has absolutely no weaknesses. It doesn't get funny until that team loses, which is exactly what happened. Every team has a weakness, Wisconsin, OU, Alabama, and LSU. Like I said, I didn't meant to offend anyone. I actually like the poster that said that, so I wasn't intending to piss them or Wisky fans off, it's just fucking funny lol. If you can't except that then you shouldn't have opened this thread.

It all just goes to show what a fluke the Nebraska win was.

You might not want to say things like this, or you might just end up looking foolish later. You could easily lose another game. Honestly, I didn't even think we would compete with you guys, but you guys had to make a serious comeback to win.

agreed that Nebraska win over Ohio State was a total fluke. everyone knows if Braxton Miller doesn't sprain his ankle in the 3rd, Buckeyes roll the Huskers by 4 TDs easy
