Huge difference between this team and that 2009 team though. We had McDaniels as our coach that season. During the Bye Week from what I understand he went to Nolan and told him he did not like how he was calling the defensive side of the game. I guess stats at that point didn't really matter to McDaniels and so he started telling Nolan how the defense was going to be called for the rest of the season. Next thing you know the defense begins to fall apart. Same thing actually happened on offense in he told Mike McCoy how to call the offense. He refused to listen to his Coordinators. He actually even admitted this at the last Super Bowl.

Fast forward to now and I can't see Kubiak doing that to Phillips especially with how this defense is playing. Offensively yeah he will be a big part of that but I don't see that as a bad thing with how bad this offense is playing.

I'm tired of the excuses for Manning. We had 130 yards Rushing before OT so we didn't get that many in OT and Manning had perfect pass protection all game, he was sacked 0 times and was maybe pressured twice and yet this was his worst game of the season? Pathetic.

I know there were some drops today but there were a lot more drops when Manning put up 55 TD's so that's not an excuse. I'm tired of people thinking 3 good throws by Manning cancel out the 7 bad ones.

Winning close is great when it's a team effort, when the Defense knows that if they make a mistake it might lose us the game because they can't count on the Offense that's a shitty position to be in.

This is no longer and Offensive problem or a Scheme problem, this is a Peyton Manning as our QB problem.

So now it's Manning's fault that DT has the dropsies? Or that Manning had a pick 6 go off Ronnie Hillman's hands (yes, I know it wasn't a great throw but it still hit him in both hands).

I'm not saying Manning is perfect, but some of you guys need to open your eyes to the problems elsewhere on the field. The line and running game was good yesterday, but the drops are still a major, major issue (that even Sanders seems to have caught a case of the dropsies), and we still don't have a tight end that can get open at all.

The fact is the offense moved the ball pretty well yesterday, but we have a serious red zone problem (some of which is Manning, some of which is an ineffective running game, some of which is a drop problem, some of this is a tight end problem) and we have a serious turnover problem (that's mostly Manning).

What is encouraging (and others have already mentioned it) is that this offense has done enough in crunch time to bring home wins. The 11 minute drive against Baltimore. The game tying drive against the Chiefs. The two drives scoring drives to end the Lions game. The drive to win against the Vikings. The 75 yard pass and OT drive yesterday. And that is a good thing, because in spite of their terribly inconsistent play, the offense is responding when their backs are too the wall. And that does build character.

Awesome to be 6-0. Regardless of your opinion of PFM we need to improve TOP and not have our D on the field so much. Even as good as we are overuse will result in more injuries and they will run out of gas and be less effective. PFM is declining but, I think his numbness in his fingers is worse because he is way way off with alot more of his throws. DMT got paid so figures he is losing focus errr. I'm looking forward to be playing better teams to gauge us for real.

2015 Broncos points scored:

Offense - 48 pts
Defense & Special Teams - 75 pts

- That's 8 points per game

- Three of our wins have come against 1-5 teams ... our opponents, so far, have a combined record of 10-24

I'm not saying that the sky is falling ... Just posting some numbers

those teams were in most of those games clawing to the end .. We are fine .. these teams were giving Greenbay and several other fine teams all they could handle .. we still faced some talent .. KC in KC is a pain in the ass all the same

One thing people need to factor in is at the end of the 3rd quarter .. They the powers that be finally took the shackles off manning to win the game . and then we looked like a different team . Manning threw 70 yards though 3 quarters ..in one Quarter 220 yard in the 4th ..look the Broncos are not giving manning much time to work with in his comport zone when he is utilized like in past thing improve drastically

Just because one person says it's all on Manning doesn't mean "you guys need to open your eyes." :L Trust me I'm no fool and I know it's not all on Manning. I watch these games a few times usually pretty closely.

Then maybe you should read a little closer and see that I said "some of you guys." If you don't feel that way, then obviously you aren't included.

I only see one person that is putting it all on Manning. I guess I can't read then.

At some point we need to give the pedal full throttle all game long until then I am not drawing any conclusion's..

I think Elway and Kubiak are in belief we cannot win with the O we had during the SB year .. I think they are full of it ! I love them but they are going at this wrong !

We tried to implement way to much way to fast .. It has bitten us in the ass
