While I'm not a fan of Oregon. I think Taggart is going to be a quality coach. He was recruited as a player to Western Kentucky by Jim Harbaugh. He was a coach under Harbaugh for 3 or 4 years. He is very close with the entire Harbaugh family.

So I'm guessing he has picked up some stuff from Jack, Jim and John.

In all honestly, effing around aside, I think it's a solid hire. From what I've heard here though, from guys out of Portland, is he was not high on the list until Harbaugh and the others came out for him.

Best of luck with it. I don't think there's ever really been a time when our programs were on top at the same time, and I'm not against it turning into an actual meaningful rivalry.
