2-0 with two lackluster performances.

Will they drop again?

maybe a spot or two.

i'm not sure how anyone can watch the games and actually think they have performed like a top 10 team. they might end up being a top 10 team, but they certainly haven't looked like one yet.

then again, nebraska probably will still be ranked this week...

They probably will drop a spot or 2, but I'm not sure they should. There are at least a couple of teams in the top 10 who haven't looked to be as good as advertised in wins and haven't dropped. It's a bit early to know if it's because they aren't as good as advertised or if the opponent was better than anyone thought they'd be.

Rankings dont matter anymore. UCLA just needs to win, their conference is strong enough to do the rest.

They should. They look like a team that bought into their own hype, and are sleeping walking through weak opponents.

Definitely not firing on all cylinders.

I wouldn't be surprised to see them fall a few spots. Just looking at performance it would be deserved as well.

I wonder if I jinxed them by predicting them to win the first playoff.

More than likely the SI jinx is regaining some lost traction...

I think UCLA is playing ont the assumption that the sooner you get behind, the more time you have to catch up. Their game with Texas next week will be interesting since both teams are in dire need of making a positive statement.

Not enough to matter. That's why preseason polls are ridiculous. UNC and UCLA have done nothing to deserve a top 25 ranking. But they'll be ranked which illustrates a flaw in the system, IMO

Maybe they should but you have Michigan State and OSU losing in front of them and Stanford losing behind them with an ugly win by USC. I can't see them falling more than a spot, I'd put UCLA ahead of OSU now and wouldn't jump USC over them after yesterday's game.
