Mets are the favorites....
You SHUT your WHORE MOUF
World Series in the bag for the Natties...long national nightmare over, or something
Maybe the Nats were on the Hoop and saw this as a challenge.
Most teams are pretty much guaranteed 60 wins and 60 losses ...
Those were some hard times to be an Astros fan.
...unless you're the 2002-2003 Tigers. Or the 2004 D-Backs.
Just in case you guys didn’t realize...
“Most” =/= “All”
I don't care, it's still fun to laugh at those teams.
I wish I could rate this a “winner” and “funny”
I know and wasn't trying to argue, just wanted to point out there was a 3 year stretch when the Stros didn't even make 60 wins. As bad as those years were, it did get the talent they have now.
Phils have failed to win 60 29 times course none were a 162 game season
1916 phily As hold the record 36-117 for AL
1899 cleveland spiders hold the record 20-134 for NL
Only need to go 101-34 the rest of the season
Halfway there, and we're 1/3 through the season
Nats don't have a player batting over .260 and appear to be a team of 3 players based on their team leaders
If it wasn't for Harper and Scherzer, they would be the NL version Baltimore and someone thought they could win 112 games?
I'd guess 93-95 wins. 2 seed in the NL and a NLCS loss to the Cubs
You're picking the Nats to advance past the NLDS?
First time for everything I guess.
If they don't get it done this year, their window is closed.
If they avoid the Cubs I like their chances but they shit the bed so often it's tough to take them seriously
I don't see them getting by the Cubs or Dodgers(who have won 5 of 6 from the Nats, and that was when the Dodgers were struggling).
Really, I'm not so sure the Nats win the East this year.
The window is closed regardless. Harper is gone, and he IS their window.
