I think that it's a very good possibility of this happening tonight. IU will most likely end up NIT bound, but tonight I'd like to see the Hoosiers give it their all and surprise Wisky.. I dont have anything against the cheese heads but this would help the Wolverines out in the end..

Well, you were right on Michigan over MSU and if IU beast Wisky, you should immediately pick up a powerball ticket. Wisconsin is just too big and too good for IU, regardless where it is being played.

I'm biased, but I don't see it. Indiana surprised in Bloomington, I think that focuses this Badger team. We've been playing much better basketball, and I think if we can play near that level we'll be fine. In Bloomington the Badgers allowed 52 points in the paint, the post defense isn't great but it's gotten better in that time.

A resident of the greatest state in the world, Indiana.

No real definition for it.

So some are Hoosiers and some Hooisers?

Is one male and one female? :noidea:

Doesnt Indiana's time zone stay the same year round?

No we have daylight savings time. NW corner of the state is on central time. Rest is on eastern.

Indiana's defense sucks, but if our shooting goes cold, we could lose. That was the big difference between the 1-5 stretch and the rest of the season. We couldn't make an open shot to save our lives in those losses (including in Bloomington).

To be precise nobody in Indiana knows. I used to live there. I asked nearly every one of them.

They way things used to be (which is what you're probably referring to) did make it hard to keep track of, but the issue was Daylight Savings Time, more so than time zones. Most of the state didn't observe Daylight Savings Time, so they were on EST all year around. (a handful of counties were on Central time though) That meant, when the rest of the country switched to Daylight Savings Time, Indiana didn't. If you asked most residents, they'd tell you that they were on Central Time, (because CDT=EST) even though their timezone didn't actually change.

They finally got wise in 2006 and passed legislation to force the whole state to observe DST. But a handful of counties are still on Central time because Chicago.

Incidentally, I was working in KY on the weekends when they finally made the switch, which meant I lost an hour when I drove down there, but never got it back when I returned. So Indiana owes me an hour damnit.
