No, this one I don't have an issue with, the assistant should have been sent out of the stadium and lost his job. Sure he could have handled it better but the assistant had no business doing what he was doing and if Kelly had to push him away from the official to prevent a penalty then he does. I don't blame Kelly for Martin's penalty who knows what had been going on during the game and Martin may very well have just lost it, happens from time to time.

My take is that it was a definite 'heat-of-the-moment' reaction on BK's part at a VERY crucial point in the game. Grimes had no biz barking at the official ... he's a fng strength & conditioning coach for crissake and was about to cost us 15 yards in stupidity.

I, also, think Kelly coulda been using this as an 'example-setter' for any other coach on the sideline that may have had any dumb future gumption to give a ref an unauthorized earful.

In Sarks case it was only to keep himself upright.

Worry about USC's coach or fired coach for being boozed up all the time, well that was my point anyway.
