Wow. I have to admit AA has really knocked it out of the park at the deadline. You know the offense is good when you probably won't even make a .298 hitter an everyday player.

Hutch is a liability at this point. I wonder how he'd do in the bullpen?

I haven't felt this excited as a Jays fan in well over a decade.

Don't you find it concerning he's had 21 starts, a 5.40 ERA and 1.50 WHIP and still has to get it right? That's like the longest leash ever!

Why would you EVER start Ryan Goins at SS and put Tulo on the bench? Unless there's an injury I was not aware of, it's a pretty bizarre lineup choice for Gibbons today.

Long game last night. Early gsme today. That wasn't rare in Colorado either. A day off now and again to assure a healthy hip is fine by me.

The dumb move by Gibbons today wasn't that, it was leaving Lowe out there after the double that followed the HR.

And yes, I'm very concerned about Hutch. Not sure he has any options left though, so I don't think DFA'ing him is wise. Bullpen sure.

NOT a good first impression from Lowe. Just awful. Agree Gibbons should have yanked him. This loss hurts...could have been 3 games over .500 and are back to the usual hovering around it area.
