OK, this is the thread where people can call their shot and make a big prediction for a wildcard upset.

Mine: Denver beating Buffalo.

I’m picking the Rams to beat the Vikings - does that count as an upset?
I also think the Chargers will beat the Texans

The Vikings are a 1.5-point favorite, so that would be a mild upset. I also think that is pretty likely. Darnold held the ball a lot against the Lions and looked like he was feeling the pressure to me.

Chargers are a 3-point favorite on the road as well, but I don’t think many would take the Texans in that one. No offense @Airraidtech

I am not a big gambler, one of the few vices I am immune from it seems. But if I were laying coin, I would bet the Chargers pretty big. That's a good example of two teams heading in different directions at the end of a season.

If the Packers were healthy, I’d seriously consider them over the Eagles. But they’re not.

Wouldn’t call the Chargers beating the Texans an upset - I just think the Chargers are playing better right now.

I chose Tampa in my weekly family / friends pickem’s. But - that’s the one I look at and keep saying to my self “You know… Washington could jump up and bite the Bucs"

The only team I'm concerned about playing the Rams, are the Eagles. They are a good momentum team.

I think the best chance for an upset is the GB-Philly game, just because Jordan Love can suck but he can also have a squirrelly game where he kills you. Other two possible upsets to me are Rams and Steelers. On paper the Steelers get plowed but its a division game, they match up fairly well and the Ravens best receiver is out

The Steelers is an interesting one. They got embarrassed in the last game. I don't see that, as they are a team heading in a wrong direction IMO, but they are divisional rivals who know each other well.

If I had to pick the team I’m most certain will win it would be the Ravens - they’ve just got way more talent than the Steelers, even without Flowers, they are better than the Steelers on offense, and while the Steelers have a good D the Ravens are equally strong on that side IMO. The Ravens finished the year strong, the Steelers sucked down the stretch. The only reason the Steelers have a slight chance is because they are division rivals who’ve already played twice so they’re very familiar with each other and sometimes crazy things happen in heated divisional rivalry matchups. But I’m expecting an easy Ravens win.

I would love to have confidence in the Broncos upsetting the Bills but I just don't. My pick would be the Commanders beating the Bucs.

NFC...Rams over Vikings

AFC...Texans over Chargers

I think Rams beat the Vikes. Hell they looked decent against Seattle and that was without starters (at least in key positions, they did start some guys). And Seattle nearly beat Minnesota.

As for playing in a neutral field in Minnesota, whatever... LA doesn't have an HFA anyway. Nobody in LA cares. Now if the Rams stadium started putting in cocaine dispensaries, that place would be flooded.
