Chiefs declared WR Josh Gordon, RB Clyde Edwards-Helaire, QB Shane Buechele, CB Rashad Fenton, DE Joshua Kaindoh, OT Prince Tega Wanogho, and RB Darwin Thompson inactive for the Wild Card round against the Steelers.​

Gordon has been an afterthought in the Chiefs' offense, so his inactive status shouldn't have an impact on the passing game. Edwards-Helaire was previously ruled out for the game, leaving Darrel Williams in line to carry the load at running back.

Benny Snell will operate as Najee Harris' backup. Although, the rookie is expected to handle the vast majority of work after being removed from the injury report on Friday. With Juju Smith-Schuster returning against the Chiefs, the Steelers are as healthy as they've been on offense in weeks.

Will be interesting to see how Hill's snaps look. Fountain being elevated doesn't have an obvious correlation now if they are demoting Josh Gordon.

I always liked Steve Nelson more than the average Chiefs fan did... seems like he got a bad rap for the 5 very ungood defenders on the defense at the time he was here. Maybe not a great fit for what I prefer, but good solid NFL corner in his prime. Haven't paid attention to him in Philly.

Speaking of PFF, why they think Mike Hughes is actually good I don't think I'll understand. Fenton and Hughes they seem to be exceptionally high on compared to even most Chiefs fans...
