Quintessential backing into the playoffs. Relying on a 2-14 Jags team showing life. And they needed the playoffs to be expanded so they could even get in.Fully embracing the underdog mentality, and even poking some sarcasm in there because he's just saying what 99.9% of people outside of the Burgh are already saying... Nothing he or the team says otherwise would be taken seriously. Why this is now being blown out of proportion is beyond me.
I don't mind Ben sayin those things at all. They don't have any business being in the playoffs, but here they are and they might as well have fun with it. If they win then wow, but if they lose then they can get back to continuing the rebuild.
Would you prefer if we were more direct?I love all this reverse trash talk. We're all whistling past the graveyard.
This reminds me a lot of 2005... Colts were a powerhouse that year and throttled the Steelers in the regular season. Steelers beat the Bungles wild card weekend to advance to a date with the Colts in the divisional round.Hey any given Sunday right?
Remember when the Steelers got upset by a Tebow led Broncos?
Or when the Jaguars upset the Steelers as huge underdogs in Pittsburgh in the 2017 playoffs
Or maybe when Cleveland was missing a ridiculous amount of players/coaches and marched into Pittsburgh last year and hammered them?
What do all those games have in common?
